Nov 22-25 : Silence Vipassana Retreat With Lama Tenzin – Thanksgiving weekend. @ Osho Nirvana Ashram
Nov 22 @ 7:00 am – Nov 25 @ 3:00 pm

Thanksgiving weekend Vipassana retreat is back! Book now and take advantage of the early bird prices.

There are hundreds of methods of meditation, but perhaps Vipassana has a unique status; just the same way as there have been thousands of mystics, but Gautam Buddha has a uniqueness of his own. In many ways he is incomparable. In many ways he has done more for humanity than anybody else. In many ways his search for truth was more sincere, more authentic than anybody else’s.

The meaning – the literal meaning – of the word Vipassana is  “to look,” and the metaphorical meaning is  “to watch, to witness.”

Gautam Buddha has chosen a meditation that can be called the essential meditation. All other meditations are different forms of witnessing, but witnessing is present in every kind of meditation as an essential part; it cannot be avoided. Buddha has deleted everything else and kept only the essential part – to witness.
When you have become perfectly watchful of your body, mind and heart, then you cannot do anything more, then you have to wait. When perfection is complete on these three steps, the fourth step happens on its own accord as a reward. Suddenly your life force, your witnessing, enters into the very center of your being.
You have come home. Osho – The Rebel

About Lama Tenzin

Buddhist monk, Reiki Master, Tenzin Lama Sherpa teaches Usui Reiki and Buddhist meditation and philosophy. When he was only 13 years old, he finished his elementary education only to become a Tibetan Buddhist Monk.

Since he was very young, he studied in Tibetan Buddhist monastery Namdroling in the South India. Throughout his monastic life, he has received endless philosophical teachings, transmissions, and initiations from great lamas.

Tenzin has studied all the Buddhist Sutras including Theravada and Mahayana Buddhism. He has taught in Nepal, India, Chile, Mexico and the United State.

In the monastic life he also gave teachings and he took care of the monks that were sick. When, for the first time, he saw so many people sick in the hospital, he immediately wanted to become a doctor, but it was impossible to be a monk and a doctor at the same time. Once he was sick and his uncle suggested that he should take Reiki healing classes. He started taking classes with a Lama, and in three days he was fully recovered. His uncle requested him to practice Reiki healing. After self healing practice and because his teacher requested him, Tenzin Lama started giving Reiki healing sessions in the healing center.
Tenzin Lama used to offer his services and his knowledge in a Reiki healing center, in households, hospitals and other centers dedicated to social services. After finishing his second level of Reiki, he started his healing services at a distance in different parts of the country. After having finished the third level of Reiki, he started to guide new Reiki practitioners.

In 2005, Tenzin Lama’s teacher received an invitation from a Chilean doctor to come to the country and Tenzin Lama’s master appointed him to be the assistant to take part in Buddhist centers, in Reiki healing centers, universities, and clinics from different parts of the country. Tenzin Lama also learned and exchanged knowledge with Reiki Masters and psychologists from Chile. Over the last 17 years, Tenzin Lama has given Reiki to more than 11000 people and has taught Reiki to more than 800 students. According to Tenzin Lama, Reiki is a healing method that has no side effects. Any person can learn meditation and Reiki for either self-healing or for healing others. This healing practice promotes physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual growth.

Silence & Celebration: Nirvana New year Party @ Osho Nirvana | Valley Center | California | United States

Come, join us in welcoming 2019 at Osho Nirvana Ashram with Osho meditation, celebration, potluck party, and a special new year breakfast: Zorba, the Buddha style.

It is that time of the year when you let go of your past pains and pleasures and begin the new year with a fresh perspective – mentally, emotionally and spiritually. How about we end the year 2018 with lots of celebration and begin the new year 2019 with Dynamic Meditation?

Osho on new year resolution:

What is a resolution? Resolution is a struggle. Resolution is ego. Resolution is saying, “I cannot live spontaneously.” And if you cannot live spontaneously, you don’t live at all — you only pretend.

“So let only one resolution be there: I will never make any resolutions. Drop all resolutions! Let life be a natural spontaneity. The only golden rule is that there are no golden rules.”

“The festivity is in the moment, in the act, not in the bothering about the results, not in achieving something.”

Total Cost for this event that includes overnight stay/meditation/celebration/ First breakfast of 2019 is only $49.

Osho Heart of Relating @ Osho Nirvana

Osho Heart of Relating
March 22 – 24, 2019
Hosted by Swami Shunyo Mahom and Ma Nita Prem Noori @ Osho Nirvana

During the Osho Heart of Relating Retreat, you will learn how to use Osho’s essential keys for inner transformation so that conscious relationships can evolve to support the celebration of life.

The Facilitators

Swami Shunyo Mahom is a Conscious Life Consultant, Zen artist, and author trained in Eastern and Western sciences to facilitate conscious change and healing. This has included training in the Western science of creative change (NLP Facticity Trainings) and the Eastern science of subtle body healing and meditation (9 years in Osho Academy).

Ma Nita Prem Noori lives in San Diego and works out of her yoga studio, Yoga Jai Ma. She has completed training in general yoga, prenatal yoga, and Usui Reiki. She hosts yoga training and classes for adults, pregnant women, and seniors in hopes of bringing more love into people’s lives.

“The whole yoga, the whole tantra, the alchemy, the whole process of religion, is how to create an orgasm, a deep intercourse between the polarities within you. And when they meet within you a new type of being is born, a new life becomes alive. If you are a man, then your conscious is masculine and your unconscious is feminine. If you are a woman your conscious is feminine and your unconscious is masculine. Your conscious and unconscious must meet so that a new birth becomes possible.  – Osho “The Supreme Doctrine”

“Seek ye first the end – end means the effect, the result – and the cause will follow. This is as it should be. It is not only that you place a seed in the soil and the tree follows; let there be a tree and there are millions of seeds. If cause is followed by effect, effect is again followed by cause. This is the chain! Then it becomes a circle – start from anywhere, create the cause or create the effect.

And I tell you it is easier to create the effect because the effect depends totally upon you; the cause may not be so dependent on you. If I say I can only be happy when a certain friend is there, then it depends on a certain friend, whether he is there or not. If I say I cannot be happy until I attain this much wealth, then it depends on the whole world and the economic situations and everything. It may not happen, and then I cannot be happy.

Cause is beyond me. Effect is within me. Cause is in the surroundings, in the situations – cause is without. EFFECT IS ME! If I can create the effect, the cause will follow. Choose happiness – that means you are choosing the effect – and then see what happens. Choose ecstasy and see what happens. Choose to be blissful and see what happens. Your whole life will change immediately and you will see miracles happening around you – because now you have created the effect and causes will have to follow.

This will look magical; you can even call it the law of magic. The first is the law of science and the second is the law of magic. Religion is magic, and you can be the magician. That’s what I teach you: to be the magician, to know the secret of magic. Create the effect and see what happens; causes immediately surround you, they follow. ”

Osho – “My Way: The Way of the White Clouds”, Discourse 3

Buddha Purnima Celebration – Saturday ~ May 18, 2019 @ Osho Nirvana
May 18 @ 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Buddha Purnima Celebration - Saturday ~ May 18, 2019 @ Osho Nirvana | Valley Center | California | United States

Join us for a full day of meditation and celebration on the occasion of Buddha Purnima.

Purnima means full moon in Sanskrit.  Osho always told us that it is easier to meditate and to be enlightened on a full moon.  Beloved Buddha was born on the full moon, was enlightened on the full moon, and died on the full moon.  This is a very auspicious sacred day.

“I love the Gautam Buddha as I have loved nobody else. I have been speaking on him throughout my whole life. Even speaking on others I have been speaking on him. Take note of it, it is a confession. I cannot speak on Jesus without bringing Buddha in; I cannot speak on Mohammed without bringing Buddha in. Whether I mention him directly or not that’s another matter. It is really impossible for me to speak without bringing Buddha in. He is my very blood, my bones, my very marrow. He is my silence, also my song “- OSHO

Buddha Purnima is a festival that marks Gautama Buddha’s birth, enlightenment, and death. It falls on the day of the full moon in May.

We will enjoy several Osho Meditations and a special Laughing Meditation with Ma Sarito Sun.  Sarito is the Laughologist for the Deepak Chopra Center.  She is a pioneer and trailblazer who brought the International Laughter Movement to San Diego in 2003.

Group meditations create a vibrant energy field.  When we come together to meditate and celebrate, there is higher energy created, we feel the presence, and we open to receive the amazing blessings and grace.

No prior meditation experience is needed.  We will introduce the meditations and you can enjoy the whole day at your own pace.   All that is needed is an open heart ready to explore, learn and relax into your own being.

Come to Osho Nirvana and give yourself a good time.

Facilitators:
Carolyn Candido, MD
Carolyn Candido MD is the Medical Director of the Carlsbad Integrative Medical Center and a graduate of University of Southern California Family Medicine, she specializes in Functional Medicine. After experiencing burnout herself, she realized that she was toxic with heavy metals, through changing her diet, water and supplements, she not only lost 25 lbs, but also regained her energy and mental clarity.

Michelle Wong, LAc
Michelle Wong is a licensed acupuncturist, and practitioner of Traditional Chinese medicine. She graduated from UCLA with Bachelor of Science, and from Dongguk University, Los Angeles with her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine, and has studied in both Beijing and Seoul.

Andrew Parales
Andrew “Drew” Parales is a Certified Fitness Trainer, Certified Sports/Whole Food Nutrition Specialist & Certified Group Fitness/Yoga Instructor, Intuitive Healing Practitioner, Life Coach, and Personal Growth Writer. After losing 72 lbs, and self-deprecation, Drew dedicated the last 20 years to preventative health, whole food nutrition, and wellness. He’s applied all these years of study, research and experience to his life while being taught by some of the heavy hitters in health and personal growth.

Richard Shapiro
Has been studying health and exercise since mid 80’s. A Master’s degree in Sport Psychology led me into both the study of martial arts, qigong, meditation and healing. He began study of tai chi in 1999, Bagua zhang in 2000, and qigong and Taoist meditation in 2002. By 2005 he was also practicing Tuina massage. He uses qigong and especially Bagua to develop the skills a healer needs to be exceptionally skilled and have a long happy career; great balanced chi, great sensitivity combined with effortless strength, and a personal awareness of how to upgrade the health of the body. In the last decade he’s seen first-hand how burnout, compassion burnout and health issues cripple so many healers, and how many lack the foundational body to do the most to help their patients.
